IRS - Tax Day

Not gonna lie... I'm a bit jealous. I'm looking at well over 100K owed right now.

 

Always fun stroking a check for a new truck only to never be seen again.

the Feds anything I would have gotten for the last several yrs. I'm starting to wonder if she's working? dead? in jail? cause she sure as shit made good money,
and "they" should be poaching on her, before what I make, but here I am, losing another refund, but this will be the last year....and end of run on sentence

Damn. I dont feel bad hearing what some of you have to pay. I had my taxes done, owed a bit of money. grumbled about it and moved on. The positive for me is the lower property tax on the new place out in the country makes up for the extra the Feds pulled out of my pocket. And life goes on...

When my dad use to bitch about paying high taxes,I would always tell him "I wish I had your problem" ! I do feel your pain!!

 

No tax day here, Kentucky has been given an extension until November due to the floods.

 

This season we had our taxes done by a retired Accountant that I know.
He used a completely free online version of like TurboTax.

We came out OK. With a bit of refund from the sate.
** That chaps my ass too. We've lived in TX, and FL- what's this state income tax BS!! Pisses me off. I have to pay even more because they don't know how to run a state logically?

Anyways paying taxes sucks.

Pay tax when you make it, pay when you spend it, and then they look at it all and want to charge you more.
While Senators and Congressmen become billionaires almost instantly after getting elected?

You ought to see all of those ugly POS "trucks" running around Austin. Almost all are driven by complete gomers. The only reason I can see to own one of those is that you are an attention whore that needed a bit more attention and there are better ways to get attention than buying a vehicle that looks like it was designed by a 3 year old with limited artistic ability.

 

And then there is the Aztek with honorable mention to the Pacer, Gremlin, and 4dr Maverick.

 

Owed quite a bit this year. Good problem I guess but I gotta be better about reducing what’s owed

 

Dont want to drive my truck all over every time I need to go to office, store, etc.

Bolt EUV will do what I need and is ~20K for lightly used one. And then tax credit.

Might look at Tesla, but they are/were a little more....plus i like the crossover style more than sedan
