Poor Nicky Hayden...believing the Honda hype. Would have been awesome if he went to WSBK a couple years earlier when offered by Ducati. I really want to see him spank everyone again.
Hahahaha yeah. Right. The faithful will be even more dejected next season than this one. I expect the Kawi Special will be the better bike. By far.
Read: the bikes will crash a lot and gouge up the pavement, while being so poorly tuned that exhaust cans get blown off on decel.
+1 Hard to imagine the handful of minor engine tweaks helping much - and the rest of the changes won't help at all in Superbike trim. 10hp in street trim definitely won't help - but maybe the internal changes have more dramatic impact at SB levels of tune.

the SBK engine rules were trimmed down a few years ago so the teams cant change as much anymore. the SP2 does have dramatic engine changes that cant be modified in SBK trim. the biggest change is a new head with larger valves and more room for race cams. it also has new pistons that raise the CR. even if the engine isnt that much stronger in stock form, i suspect TenKate has a bit more to work with now. the switch from an aftermarket fly-by-wire system to an OEM version might be a very large tweak. it took TenKate years to get their FBW system working with any consistency. now they have HRCs base setting if they want to use it. plus the new TBs are larger.
Yes and HJC never really go well together. Even though that looks like a nice helmet. what's a boba fett?
It is an ingenious system no doubt. Curious what years they used the system it in MotoGP and whether or not they still do.
