Any eta on parts arrival? Are parts being shipped to us or to the shops? I saw the one shop that was listed was the KTM race shop in Amherst Ohio, Is there a name or number to call and does this repair need schedule and or can we wait while repairs are being made? Sorry for the 100 little questions just want to address this situation as fast so we can hopefully get on track before COTA.
Asking for updates via the WERA board is probably the communication channel least likely to get my attention right now. Call me.
Totally understand. I called and talked to Austin yesterday and was told I would get a call back. I didn't receive that call back. I understand everyone is busy , but I saw you respond on here so I thought you may be monitoring this thread. Guess,Ill wait for a call with some info is all I can do at this point now.
Honestly Jensen your replies here are the fastest. Called and was told someone would call back and never happened and then on March 2nd sent an email and still no replies.
I don't work out of Fargo, so I don't know who calls the shop unless the guys there tell me. I've heard people have been calling, but don't have names or callback numbers -- just like here, where I have no idea who "assjuice Cyrus" and "envy cycles" are in real life, so have no proper way of communicating. If you want a reply, call me.
Sounds like the CEO has a great training opportunity to teach his staff how to take and disseminate proper messages with contact info.
Chill y'all, you know damn good and well they're swamped and trying to get real answers for everyone. No need to get bitchy about things you're not involved in...
If you can't find him at the track you'll surely find him drinking his life away at Bdubs after his son's Kramer grenades.
My not going to speak on behalf of the guys at Kramer but I’m hoping to see my parts next day or so. if ANYONE has any technical questions, I’m happy to help as much as I can as I’ll be doing our engine. im happy to help ANY competitor as I think this class has potential and im personally invested so in other words, i get the frustrations as a team owner who’s run factory teams and low dollar teams, the communication is way better than I’ve experienced even when on some payrolls. relax, they ain’t gonna start any races with anyone’s bikes torn down in the pits. I’m a pretty big asshole in general but I can proudly proclaim that I’d be the first in here with pitchforks for Jensen and Kramer have exceeded my expectations provided the situation and unexpected issues (which we’ve ALL seen even when building production street bike type racers)
Also, on a personal note I hope to get a pic with Ass-Juice ever since we both might have been called into court (wrong thread) but to this day I can hear them saying: you honor we’d like to question “Robby-Bobby and “Ass-Juice”
Pictures usually come with a fee, but for you I’ll wave it. I’m sure we will have plenty opportunities this season.
@cota.kitty do the OEM '24 and '25 Husqvarna FE 350s equivalent 50-state legal Ti valves fit in the EXC-F cylinder head? Couldn't they be sourced from Husky's parts inventory here in the US as an option? Pierer Mobility is kind of sneaky this way. @Robby-Bobby with you racing them for years, you may know better than anyone else. Fyi, I'm the one who asked you on FB if you were installing your own Ti valves, once received. I can't copy and paste from the page, but scroll to 'cylinder head:' https://www.husqvarna-motorcycles.com/en-us/models/enduro/4-stroke/fe-350s-2025.html Would a team be legal in the class if they 'liberate' a Husqvarna FE 350 motor from an otherwise equivalent street legal bike to the KTM 350 EXC-F?
That seems like a better option to me than just have a spare motor. At least we can set the spare bike up for the ice.
I don't know if those would fit, but I would assume so. I also can't speak to how the different Pierer brands are handled in regards to inventory. I spent today sourcing exhaust valves from three different sources (and there might be a fourth), since these are basically unobtainium globally right now. We had to move a lot of mountains to get these, and I can't reiterate enough how much heavy-lifting KTM did for us, especially their team in the USA. By Friday, every team will have titanium exhaust valves, titanium intake valves, and a head gasket in their possession. Everything is shipping as fast as possible, no expense spared, including some parts that are being hand-carried on a flight from Europe. I'm sure someone will complain about the timeline, because complaining is easy, but there is literally no faster way of moving parts across the Atlantic and across the country than what we are using. Lastly, teams will also get a technical bulletin in the next 24hrs or so from MotoAmerica that slipper clutches are now legal in the rulebook.
Thats a good positive update that I think teams are looking for. Cresson test is on Monday and people are just looking for update to plan accordingly. I first hand have experienced the “making mountains move “ play out. I am standing on the hill battling with you guys not against you guys. But updates matter. Good or bad updates matter. People can deal with facts they can’t deal with uncertainty. Thanks for the update. I will reach out tomorrow to hopefully find info on the shop in ohio to get the process going.
