I have a government issue Remington Rand I bought 30 years ago from a private seller It eats anything I throw at it. Hopefully staying in the family for generations.

So the story behind it is this is NightHawks 20th Anniversary and they only made 20 of these.

I got my holster for my Ace VR shooter. It’s never available on the actual Ace site. But Double Alpa Academy has it. Came today from FedEx and it really adds to the experience.

I already had a T-Rex Arms Ragnarok SD holster for suppressed guns with a light.

I just put a TLR-1 on the Ace handset and use it with that holster. I may spring for the Ace holster one of these days, but this works pretty good for now.

I did read the story. Cool for them.
This gun's aesthetic* and generally self congratulatory-ism have never been something I appreciate.

*All traditional 1911s don't do anything for me. Shot 'em, cleaned 'em and . . . meh.
    If I want a single stack 10mm, I'll get a S&W 1006/1076/1066.
    If I want a single stack 9mm, I'll get a Sig P225
The 2011/double stack versions ARE intersting and I'm waiting for one of my buddies to buy one.

I'm about to venture into suppresors.....to TRUST or not to TRUST?
It seems that people wish they had put all their tax stamp stuff in a trust vs individual.

I have two stainless hunter models, one bone stock and one with all the Volquartsen goodies I could throw at it.
I like "comparison shooting" them back to back, very noticeable difference in how they feel.

I think it kind of depends on if you have someone to leave them to or not, maybe

If you do a trust it may take a little longer to get the approval to pick it up.

My daughter gets everystuff....The trust allows you to add people to it so friends/family can borrow and have possession of an NFA item without you being present, right?

I’m not 100 percent sure. But I believe that is also correct. Others can chime in.

If you have a partner/spouse, or friends that you want to be able to use the suppressors without you necessarily being at the range, then a trust is the route for you.

It's not 100% about having someone to leave them to.
It's also about having your friends as trustees so they can use the items.
It's about making it easy on your partner if you die (beneficiary), they can dispose of them legally without running the risk of ATF b.s.

    Yes, that is correct.
If the people are named as trustees, then they can use the items without you needing to be present.

Please keep in mind, that when purchasing, paying the tax stamp, and having the ATF validate your ability to own, every trustee also needs to provide their photograph and fingerprint cards.
