No but looks fine for the money. AR is an AR is an AR.

Read alot of good reviews on them. What does a FFL usually charge for you to have something shipped to them and do the paper work?

We charge $25. Just call around to your local shops.

The hardest part of building one yourself is waiting for the parts to come in. I just put a low low buget ar15 pistol together for about $215.00 minus the bolt carrier and charging handle. I wanted something to use with my cmmg 22lr
conversion kit. There are really good step by step how to video's on google. Only takes about 1-1.5 hours to build.

Yep, super easy. Here are two recent builds. Both low budged.

One of my employees was all excited the other day because he built a lower in under 5 mins while showing a customer how to build a lower. I told him that was incredible time as I also have no idea how to put together an AR lol

Well that particular gun is a .556/.223 but overall cost is $450.00 but that is an expensive brace. I have a 9mm that I probably have $500 in. I used a little better components on the 9mm as they are a little more finicky with parts being blowback operated. They tend to break regular AR triggers and like different buffer weights.

I know so little about ARs that I'm kinda embarassed about it. But I've only even shot a few of them. Not really my thing, but I should dive into them at some point.

they are great tools but I agree, gimme a bolt
For fun shooting. Our hog numbers are way down so mine have been in the safe all season.

I get bored with them too. Long range bolt guns are awesome.

Any suggestions on where to source a savage action (short action for 308/6mm) with detachable box mag?
