Just wondering if anyone has any good advice on removing these two bolts. I am considering an ez-out or something similar, but I am not sure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The two circled in red are the culprits. They belong to the lower side of the idle gear cover. dimensions are 6x30, so I am worried about what I have to work with there.

Drill the heads just enough to remove the cover. Once it's off, you'll have enough of the shank of the bolt(s) sticking out to remove them without much drama. (use locking pliers or similar weapon)

Yep, its not like you are going to mess up the cover, grind away.
