I'm setting an '06 750 up for this coming season (my first) and have been running the extended fork caps for about a year at trackdays and have the geometry in pretty good shape.

Are these legal in the Superstock class? Since you can modify/replace the fork internals and run different fork caps I am hoping these fall under that category.

These are what I am talking about if you are not familiar with them: http://www.traxxion.com/store/detail.asp?product_id=ESFC

    Thanks,
    Dave

Yes, they are used on several of the bikes I know in SS classes.

Are these easy to install for a squid mechanic?

Well, you have to take the stock fork cap off which means you need a way to compress the fork springs. Then transfer the stock preload/rebound adjuster to the new cap and reassemble. If you have the tools and a service manual it's not bad.
