I like Grattan CCW better than CW.....great fun track. It takes a while to learn though.

May 13th should be ccw since the regionals that weekend are ccw this year.

 

that's expected, but if the local racers can get in another CCW day before the first race weekend, we'd all be real happy and appreciative....

I heart the Grattan backwards.

 

I was hoping they would do a CCW track day last year, but it never happened. I have never run it CCW and would really like to try it.

 

I meant that Friday should be an STT day going CCW. I'd be seriously bummed if it weren't because we haven't raced CCW there since 2009.

FYI Friday STT Pro School which is the friday before the CCW WERA North Central weekend will be CCW direction, also the weekend before STT has a weekend at Grattan and at least one of the two days will be CCW as well. Stay posted to the new schedule that will be before Janary 1, 2011.

So looking at the track info for Grattan and being new to the area. What is with the Jump? Is running the track CCW?

 

This is the kind of air you can get over the CCW jump at Grattan, if you're brave/foolish enough! Matt LaPham was doing 1:21s while flying.

 

So just running the track at a intermediate pace LOL this wont happen to me...fingers crossed

The only way to prevent it is Rolloff the power when you crest it.

But all in all its not that bad... Crazy fun if ya got Biggins

 

It will be fine Matt ran about 20 sec/lap faster then the "I" group pace.
