Of course I'm not rolling in here with a better than thou attitude. And again, I followed this shit here...regretably....
Ah, hindsight. If I read right, cmra asked court to force a settlement conference. Judge said fine, but bring a million bucks. If it doesn't settle, I wonder if the court or cmra will post a list of what individual board members wouldn't agree too?
Dismissed was the wrong word. Dropped by the plaintiff was what I meant. But yeah, I think he's too pissed now to stop this train.
Because it's not. You keep trying to blow simple comments way out of proportion because you're so busy being defensive about everything you read.
Got family stuff to take care of in Cali and Oregon. Not racing until I get a job and health insurance.
Ah come on...we're having fun now! You're entertained or you wouldn't be tuning in! Jesus man, you're a top 5 poster on the beeb! You want to be the pot or the kettle? In all serious, I do need to roll off of this thread and bbs. The activity around the case is going to heat up and I will not longer be able to weigh in. Whether you like it or not, or whether you agree with it or...or whether you think I was effective or not, I have stood up against what I beleive to be false accusations lodged here against the CMRA. I would hope that any of you would defend your club too, even if it's in the court of public opinion like it has been here. I know all of us in leadership positions are ready to put this behind us so we can all focus on racing. Like WERA, the CMRA is a fantastic place to race, full of great people. We know that's going to continue to be true and we'll do our part in keeping road racing alive in the US. The resolution of the legal actions will surely be public soon, at least to some degree. I'm hopeful that answers and results to all of the questions will be satisfied, but I know surely they will never be 100%. People will still believe what they want to beleive. Have a great season if you're racing, enjoy the entertainment of the beeb if you're not, thanks for giving me an opporunity to participate. Allen Dye
