    Frenchier6 I'm just being me

Even if it's cold out (bring warm clothes), drink plenty of water.

as far as ive seen its going to be 50 and partly sunny right?
i remember seeing one of the days was going to have a 30% chance of rain but that was it
but this is what im bringing anything else recommended?
    -5 gal fuel
    -cooler sandwhiches/drinks
-couple of fold up chairs for my girl and I
    -tool box
-all spares i own (not much of anything)
    -2 3/32 cobalt drill bits
-couple hundred feet of 2 thickness of safety wire
    -drill
    -gallon of distilled water
    -warm clothes
i just put on new ebc HH pads on and will not be able to put any miles on it prior to the track will they bed in quickly? i took sanding cloth to both rotors to get some of the old off.
any other recommendations will be very helpful

Drain pans, more drill bits, hand cleaner, umbrella, folding table, ear plugs, oil for transport vehicle and bike, fire extinguisher if you have one, rags, glass cleaner, duct tape, ty-wraps(zip ties). I always bring an extra chair for "company". Your girlfriend might appreciate a pillow for car/van time. Do you have a stand?

I'm assuming the distilled water is for the cooling system? If so, pick up some water wetter too.

Don't forget the key for the bike.

If you're on a street bike, don't forget the masking tape for the lights.

well im in and settled, staying in good ol' wyoming, MI. had a good uneventful drive here. ill be at the track at around 7 am im riding a repsol cbr 600rr so i sould be able to spot...

quick question..my girlfriend is going to the track with me on saturday and sunday, just wondering what shes able to do i brought a folding chair and she has reading material but i hope she doesn't have to sit out in the elements all day and freeze her butt off

  14. ton

    ton Arf!

she can wander around all over the infield of the track watching from different angles. aside from that, she can sit in a vehicle to stay warmer, but there's nothing to "do" once you're there and there's certainly no indoor facilities aside from the scary bathrooms.

    almost made it

Made it as far as Michigan City Indianna when the tow vehicle died.
Thanks to some great racer friends we were able to get the trailer with the bikes home safe Friday night. Saturday was spent recovering and delivering the the wounded truck to Heavy Metal Performance ( light diesel specialists)
in Rockdale IL. (close to Autobahn)

WOOHOO!!! i made it through my first TD!! went very smoothly, only one "oh shit!" moment but other than that turn 3 is kind of intimidating as is the hairpin but it was an amazing time nonetheless.
and she just sat in the truck and slept or read and when i was in she made me samiches and helped me with what ever i needed...she actually was a big help made my day much easier
whos staying for sunday???? ill be there im riding a repsol cbr600rr and driving a beat up black ford ranger if you want to look for me
