Have 'em media blasted at a machine shop, or the po' mans way to do it is just get yourself a couple beers and a scotchbrite pad and go to town. You need to bed the new pads in. There are different schools of thought with this but basically what you want to accomplish is to get the pads hot enough to transfer pad material to the rotors. Like smoking hot. I went out behind my office building here and did 2 full heat cycles - about 50 stops from 2nd and 3rd gear with a nice cool down break in the middle. THey're nuts now. 1 finger rear-wheel-lofted stops from 160mph all day long, extremely minimal fade.
