I found a pair of dymag wheels for my race bike. they are new never been used 3 spokes with the mag center/spokes and alm rim. they dont match, doesn't matter to me but thought that that could effect value. what are they worth? $1000? the guy who has them said a price but i want to make sure they are worth it, as i can't find too much info on them since dymag doesn't exist anymore. dymags were at one point nice aftermarket wheels from what i remember, right? I was going to get a set of corredzia's but these are better made wheels i'm thinking.

FYI - Dymag's back in bidness

$1K for a set of brand new mags is a decent deal regardless, but you could always offer a little less.

In January 2010, CSA International Ltd acquired the assets of Dymag Racing UK Limited from the liquidator, and with the help of Dymag engineers and experts is proudly bringing the Dymag brand back to market, with an initial focus on motorcycle wheels.

it still doesn't seem that they are back in full swing from what i've read. however my sources may be wrong. that aside. i was thinking of offering 1g. thats less than he wants but not by much.

Don't worry about what they are worth to someone else, determine what they are worth to you. If $1000 is what you want to spend on these wheels, then make that offer. If you don't want to pay the asking price, that is your decision. Justify the purchase for you and you won't second guess your decision.

I have a set that I bought used for the RC. They were cast Mg. While they utterly transformed the RC I cannot recommend them.
    1) I had to get a new stud and they are freak mutant sizes with no support for parts (they existed at the time)
    2) Sprockets are not a standard bike and thus a pain in the @##. I got them from Sprocket Specialists as special order
    3) The rear is now a nice paper weight in my garage as I tore the hub up last year (cush drive mounts gave out)
    4) The rear leaked so every time I went to the track it was low

I would spend more for something else or do without. Obviously I am a unhappy customer and thus biased but FWIW

I'm guessing that your bike has more hp than mine by a landslide. I'm running a UL ducati that i built for the class that has about 60hp. so i'm not worried too much about the cush getting blown up. I'm looking to improve the handling of the bike by lighting up the wheels. the rear alone weighs close to 20lbs bare were talking a 35lbs wheel set. if i can reduce that by 8lbs it would make a world of difference, i'm thinking. Also the rear spacers for my application would have to be custom made which is included in the price from the seller. finding nice (used esp) wheels for my application is tough. my choices are OZ's, and Carrozzeria's mainly. so these are far less than 1/2 the price of those. I could spring for marvics or march's but the wait would be verry long.

True about 120 but the application was 'supposed' to be there. I just posted as I felt the quality was lacking. Of course I also mentioned that it was AMAZING the difference. I was keeping up with buddies on I4's that used to pull me after I put them on, and braking deeper. Currently I am looking at replacement choices....

word thats what i'm hoping for. an increase in excelleration, better turn in, braking, and a general decrease in weight. wheels, battery, tank, and rotors; all new light weight items, most that needed replacing anyways. I'm hoping to drop 20-30 lbs off the bike and feel a world of difference. and 20-25 off of me. thanks for the imput
