Ducati 1098 Superbike

2007 Ducati 1098

In 2010 I won 2 WERA Regional Expert Championships and numerous races on this bike. This bike is extremely fast, clean and RELIABLE. This bike will come with an extra set of Marchesini wheels with rain tires so you can be ready race in 2011.
Clean Title (not salvage)

Motor
DucPond Built Motor (by Donnie Unger). Engine was blue printed and built from the bottom up. Motor was built to be fast and reliable. When the engine was rebuilt this summer everything was replaced including the main bearing ($450 for Superbike bearing), belts, etc. The motor was broke in properly and will not need to be refreshed anytime soon. If I was keeping the bike I would run the 2011 season on this motor.

- Red or Blue (your choice) High grade Silicone cooling hoses... No cracking and keeps motor cooler by at least 5 degrees

Suspension
- Traxxion Dynamics AK 20 cartridges
- 25 mm off set triples (radiator has been relocated back for clearance)
- Ohlins DU 515 rear shock (Fully adjustable)
- Linear rear link
- Custom rear ride height adjust rod


Chassis
- Double Dog Moto full stainless exhaust
- Woodcraft rearsets
- Woodcraft clip ons
- SpeedyMoto Under body frame sliders
- Renthal grips
- Galfer SBK front SS braided brake lines (eliminates front double banjo bolt making front tire changes much easier)
- Ohlins steering stabilizer
- Fresh DID chain
- Alth quick change carrier with three sprockets 37/38/39
- Vortex lightened front sprocket
- Lightened rear rotor (cut by Jimmy Chance)
- CRG roll a click levers
- New radiator
- Carbon Lorraine Brake pads in the front brakes
- Ferodo Brake pads in rear brake
- Rear set frame tabs have been replaced/modified to be stronger than the weak stock tabs that break or bend too easily


Electronics
- Ducati Performance Race ECU
- Dynojet quickshifter (I have both GP shift and standard shift -your choice)
- Power Commander III
- 2 maps (one pump gas and one race gas)
- Lightweight race battery or OEM your choice

Bodywork (your choice)
- Custom front fairing stay imported from Italy. Incredibly light and strong. Best looking stay I have seen available for the 1098
- Full set of Armorbodies bodywork with Superbike tail. Superbike tail is completely fresh and has never been used

- Full set of Sharkskin Body work with Superstock tail
- Both sets of body work are in perfect condition with professional paint. All stickers are over top of the clear coat and can be easily removed

Wheels
- Marchesini Stock wheels
- Aluminum rear axle nuts (extremely lightweight and beautiful)
- Titanium rotor bolts
- Pirelli Diablo SC DOT front with 8 laps
- Pirelli Diablo SC Slick (190/65) with 8 laps
- Complete extra set of Marchesini wheels with Bridgestone rain tires mounted. Includes front rotors.

Fluids
- Agip full syn
- K&N oil filter
- ATE Super Blue brake and clutch fluid
- All fluids were just refreshed

Bike has been professionally safety wired by head WERA tech to WERA standards. All bolts have "punch" marks and line up so that all bolts line up for perfect torque settings making front wheel changes quick and painless.

I will share all my gearing and set up information with the person who purchases this bike.

Bike has a clean title! The bike is in race trim but the wiring harness has not been modified so this bike could be converted back to a street bike easily. Would be an insane street bike!

This bike is ready to win races. This is a true "turn key" race bike. You even have the set of extra wheels and rain tires! The only reason I am selling the bike is because I am going to be riding an 848 next year.
