So I take it by the first few replies (to this most amazing thread), that many aren't fans of Suzuki anymore? Or is it more the newer bikes in general? I was thinking about a new(er) one for 2010 or racing the wifes 07 600, but the more I hear, the more I want to stay with my 01 750..... It's a tank!!!
i think you're reading it wrong. go back to the beginning & start over. think "wishlist." right there w/ya. i recently got to do back to back sessions on my stock '01 750 & an '09 ZX-6R w/full Akrapovic & PC-V. it was not enough of an improvement to need a new bike.
I get it now. Was just making sure! The difference I noticed is that it takes a bit more strength to get the 01 to do the same thing as the 07. Guess I will figure it out as I go. If I can get right down to business on a new one, then hell, that's a no brainer. But if there isn't much change, why bother.
R8, as in KTM's bike or are you wishing for perfection in a Yami R8? LOL A GSX-R800 was wished for long ago. Maby Kruzel can make me an 800 decal for my punched out 750, LOL.
A letter from Suzuki Motor co. ******************************************************** Hello to all; We here at Suzuki realize the pain we have caused our fans. Let's face it - Yamaha, basically rule the racing World. Everyone knows that. We at Suzuki win the DMG Cup, or whatever it is there in the USA. This is a hollow goal, but we kicked all the priviteers asses but good. But we know the we can never run with our friends at Yamaha, so we decided to take another approach to street bikes. Unlike Yamaha, or even the Lawnmower Factory, we have basically no experience winning at the GP level, So instead of using MGP winning tech, we decided to "Keep it real on the streets", and build the new 2010 GSXR for the typical Gixxer customer; and Here's a sneak peek!!! Chrome "rims" optional.
Dear Suzuki Please don't sell your car division to Volkswagen...If you do have to then put the money back into racing those motorcycles! jim
