I myself have not but a couple of faster friends have and loved to mess with the person screaming that...lol. I have crashed into people going the wrong direction on the trail in a very fast section (20mph+). I was seriously considering a full face helmet like Stickboy wears! :D

Going against traffic on the trail gets you a ticket from the park rangers around here.

They'll warn you if it's 7:00 AM with only 2 cars at the trailhead, but if it's even remotely crowded (or you cause a collision), you're paying a fine.

I love my helmet. I make use of it way more than I should.

Good job getting out there and racing it. Pretty tough conditions today.

I tried a zwift race on Saturday, 40km cat c. It was actually pretty fun although I've never raced a bicycle before. It felt like it responded to race craft to stick with groups, draft others and make some moves to take them down. It was pretty satisfying overall and might be more interesting for training than the defined workouts given there's a race somewhere what seems like every few hrs. Can def recommend it for something different.

Hats off to that race above, that rocky track is painful to look at let alone ride, or race on, in any weather.

Negative and I would never do it, but I have logged in my notes before that, "the trail was busy today." :D
