Yamaha really struggled here last year. It will be interesting to see how much they have improved on their weaknesses. It will also, of course, be interesting to see how the Ducatis fare.
What qualifies as ridiculous? I think it will be closer than last year. I wouldn't be surprised if the Ducatis are very competitive here, and I also think Yamaha will be a little closer this year. Last year, Smith was the first Yamaha, 23 seconds behind Marc. When Smith is the first Yamaha, that's pretty much a disaster.
I think Ducati pissed off Honda at round one and they're bringing their A game and a gun under the table. I'm predicting forced Prison sodomy.
That's the A- game now with Marquez in there. That kid is the deal. I expect the next Marquez II to be even better, the A+.
Oh yeah, that's out there! Hopefully someone else heading from the west coast will bail them out. Nothing! Out there but travelers, and a lot of border patrol and highway patrol presence, so basically safe. 9.5 hours to them from houston, and I'm 3 hrs from Louisiana. El Grande Tejas! Good Luch to them.
