Call Tim Bond at Wheel Works in Burlington, NJ, 609-387-4488. Tim repairs dented rims all day long, and he knows what stuff is good and what is junk.

He can also do motorcycle rims, widen rims (he actually does some pretty amazing stuff for show and drag cars) He knows his stuff, and it goes without saying that he is a stand-up guy. I saw him standing up just the other day.

  7. Keep his number on speed-dial, and his shipping address in your address book, because wimmenz can't get anywhere near a curb without scraping the crap out of the wheels :(

Rims should be like sport bikes.
4 brands, and some European stuff I can't afford.

Hmm, good timing. I was just thinking about this today. The wheels on my 05 Sierra 2wd crew gasser are nasty stained with brake dust. I have tried to stay on top of it, but these seem to be really susceptible. The fronts are literally 1/2 orange, and it will not come off. I got a flat last week and had to use the spare. I was looking at it and decided I kinda like the look of the black rims. I was thinking of some understated black wheels (nothing too flashy - not my taste), but not really sure. Some around here say any aftermarket rims make your vehicle into cop attractant.... not sure how much stock I put into that, but interested in other's experiences.

If I get 'em, should I just get the stock sizes and have the tires swapped over, or maybe something bigger with summer tires and keep the stockers as a winter set?

    1. Tell her "no."

    OR

    2. Tell her "you know how I know you're ghey?" Then tell her no.

You don't need rims to keep your pimp hand strong man.

I did the same with my Ram that's for sale.......didn't really care for the stock 17" wheels with shitty tires when I bought it, so I ran out and bought some 20's and a used set of tires to drive in the summer. Winter came, and I know how much they love to salt/sand the roads and I didn't want to mess them up, so I bought some brand new AT/snow tires for my stock 17's, and now I love the looks of them, go figure  But now, (being I like to change my mind all time) i'm wanting a diesel, and when I sell this one to get one, i'm going to leave it alone :D
