I might have rode right by you at some point over the weekend. I have property over by the Ranger Station. Awesome desert playground! Big crowd for Thanksgiving this year too.

We were east of pole line road, although one of our adult rides we went all the way to shell reef and blowsand to watch if anyone was doing anything stupid or crazy.:beer:

I really wish we would get some snow to go with the 20° weather.

Move closer to a big lake...preferably on the down wind side. Works for me...:(

To have proper balance in the energy of life, one must experience and embrace all 4 seasons equally.

I'm in SW Ohio. We do it frequently on any random Tuesday.

You could have accomplished all of that last week here on the gulf coast.

I just looked at the pics and I don't see any water? Help me out buddy, I know your in Ramona/Julian area. I grew up in North SD county, 37 years, so I'm familiar with all that space. But I don't see water in the pics I posted? We camp on lake shore trail east of pole line. The lake shore referenced is the Salton Sea lake shore. Nothing else wet out there that I'm aware of, except the gas domes and artesian well.

Can't wait to hit the glare ice this weekend. Kid did all the ice bike conversion stuff unsupervised this year... we'll see how much/ how long it takes stuff to fall off.
