I don't know how many of you know August Nixon call sign ABN on Track Tactics forum but is on here also. He was a Federal employee FPS contractor for the federal building here in downtown LA. He tragically killed last night on his way to work in a car accident on State St. and 10 FWY( I don't know all the details) But we were supposed to be heading out to the July 11th Track day and to Laguna Seca later on this month,we were even going to do my brakes on my truck on Sat. August was a great guy and his kids are a blast to hang out with and he will be missed. One of the best friends I have, and now he is gone. GOD BLESS YOU August.
My girl got the police report. August was runnning late for work since he took his girl out for her bday and he had to be there by 10pm.. dropped the girl and the kids off at home and was speeding, clipped a motorcycle also speeding, lost control of his car hitting a light pole and center divider which caused the car to flip over on its rrof. He was taken to General Hospital which was off the same exit as the accident. There he told the doctors he was late for work and to call his girl and gave the docotr the number to call (they never did)he was pronounce dead at 10:30. at 2:30 am FPS officers notified the wife of the accident.
