I did a search just out of curiosity about the average age of racers. I couldn't find anything so I figured it'd make for an interesting poll idea.
They may have some numbers in the office, email wera at wera dot com and you may get an ballpark count I turn 26 my first year racing
Well since I have no chance at any young ladies on here...started racing March 2006 (1 week b4 my birthday) .... I am 37 now, 3 years, 57 wera races (17 weekends) and 5.5 crashes later...Im wondering what the hell my old ass is doing out here..... 2006 1st race at 34 years old.
think i was like 17 for my first wera round... i vividly remember my first experience on a track, during the bargy school.. what a rush
What chu doin up so late Luke? I was there in 04 when you, your dad, and Russ did the Bargy school. You won or something on a 500 Ninja in the mock race maybe? 50 here and started at the tender age of 49. Next round at Tally with the big boys in A superstock with Luke maybe???
Started at 17 in Canada many moons ago. Now 42 and proud of it  this year will be my 2nd year back after a 20 year break
seems like there's a gap between 21-25 and 31-40 lol.. I guess that's the heal up injury and replenish bank account period. .. I'm 23, started track days at 19 and started racing at 22
OK, let's see if anyone can beat this. I started riding sport bikes and racing at the tender age of 52. Seem to be getting faster this year. Turn 54 in a week or so and love every minute I'm on the track! :crackhead:
