Anybody watch the Oscars?

I didn’t either but my wife told me about Will Smith literally bitch slapping Chris Rock. They’re both obviously actors and my first thought was it was all staged but if you search for the video it looked and sounded pretty real.

FYI don’t talk smack about Jada.

I believe it was due to the fact that Jada lost her hair to alopecia, and didn't like the J.I Jane reference.

 

Didn’t watch; haven’t for years. Saw the clip on the new this AM. It looked staged to me. They’re both talented actors, and the fact that Will was laughing before the slap makes me think it was all staged.
Either way, I really DGAF.

I can barely watch most of the movies, I certainly don't want to hear them talk in public. Rather get healthcare and personal life advice off utubes.

Let's be real, shows like this are tanking and no-one is watching them anymore. What better way to boost ratings than some manufactured drama? It's well known Will Smith has a very open marriage, so if he is ok with other dudes slipping their one eye willy in her, then who cares about a joke?
