This was outside the hotel on our way back from Florida last week. Figured someone would steal this before my F-Type. :D

Minor gripe, but it is what it is......You know how VW sets off it's upscale racer boy cars with a tell tale red stripe? WELL, I was pumping gas the other day and lo and behold here comes a Ford exploder with the same red stripe. Got a chuckle.

it's fine. I was like a kid in a candy store. I wanted it, they had it. We all walked away happy.

Right now it's 1/800 in white, and 1/2000 in the US...so i'll ride the wave of exclusivity for now :D

I also have a Integra Type S that I reserved 1 of the first 200 that should be delivered in the next week or 2,1/50 first Grey/red so who knows how long I keep this...lol

^^ so serious question, do you not lose money on an exchange like that? Is it nominal and no big deal? Or do you not care cause you "want what you want" kinda thing. Not being judgemental just genuinely curious.

Soooo...it depends. a lot of time it breaks even, or I have equity in the cars I trade it, so it doesn't feel terrible.

This being car #40+ : This one was I want what I want, almost no matter what. Wanted a Type R, wanted a manual car before I need body parts, mid-life, so this was a F-it car.

ah, ok thank you. And I like your choice, by all accounts that CTR is one heck of a car.

This looks so close to being an Australian Supercar that I'm left wondering what it would be like with a V8. :D

The Type-R depreciates so little, you can probably own it a couple of years, beat the shit out of it and sell it 2-3k less than what you paid.
Similar trucks to my Ridgeline go for about 5-6k less than I paid 3,5 years and 50,000 kms ago, it's insane !

exactly part of my thinking going YOLO.

even though the Integra may dilute the resell a little, a Type R is still a Type R. I can play with it as long as I can tolerate it, and then not lose much, even paying markup.

I've still got you beat. I can probably get damn near what I paid for the truck after 20 years and 60k miles. :D

I don't think I'd do bad on the IS-F or the Beetle either. The neighbor just dropped $38k on a 1 year model newer IS-F with more miles on the clocks. That's really close to what I paid for it 11 years ago.
