I'm thinking about upgrading to a new TZ250. Is anyone interested in my '93 TZ250? It's fast and fun, but just cant keep up with the Pros on new bikes. Would make a great Novice bike!! Don't worry if you dont know how to jet a two-stroke. My bike comes with a Speed Tune from http://www.aimracingproducts.com . Here's the specs and a short list of spares. 1993 Yamaha TZ250 Black/Sliver paint w/blue wheels Only two races on pistons and cylinders Only two races on clutch plates Only two races on EBC front rotors and pads Only two races on Bridgestone slicks Billet clutch basket (from the UK) Beautiful nickel plated exhaust pipes w/ carbon silencers Daytona Digital temp gauge New RAM stearing damper Speed Tune O2 sensors (jetting made easy!) Bunch of jets, nozzles and needles Gearing (38-40 rear, 14-16 front) Rear Stand Two Manuals (parts book and service) Spare set of wheels with new rain tires mounted Spare crank Spare cylinder (needs replating) Spare set of exhaust pipes (very good cond.) Spare radiator Lots of other little spare stuff (can make list) Placed 2nd at GNF last Oct. $4800 Firm for all the above add $350 for new tire warmers add $600 for spare frame and swingarm (perfect cond.) add $300 for hand made KIT exhaust pipes w/ short carbon cans add $950 for spare motor, carbs, electronics, & cdi Bike located in North Carolina. The bad stuff... Unknown mileage on crank (good idea to have it rebuilt ~$400) Bodywork has a new paint job, but I managed to scratch it a few times (no road rash). Photos are here, but only FZR list members can see them. I can email the photos to anyone else that's serious. Can email you photos IF you are serious!
