After watching that qualifying session i am pretty amazed with the new bikes... these bikes might just bring back the seperation of the talent that the 990s bunched together.

Interesting points:

Yamaha looks to have done it's homework well as evidenced by Edwards actually being competitive (sorta) there at the end.

Nicky in 4th but over a second off of Rossi's time... does not bode well for him retaining his title.

The Midget smiled in the garage... I guess you all will start liking him now seeing as though he showed some sort of "emotion" .

Rossi must have lost about 50lbs... only reason I can think of for his ridiculous time on the 800.

My crystal ball is smiling.

testing is just that TESTING. sure it shows some sort of truth to the season but no one knows anything until the little red lights go out and the race has started.
