Ok, so a logical kinda tangent to this. Do you guys think that online social media, where people seem to more openly act mouthy or tough, has led to people being more inclined to speak their mind in person?

I think it's suburban isolation that has caused such social detachment that standards of behavior are lost on most. You live in your own bubble long enough that your peculiarities become "normal". Everyone else is the problem.
