8,12 and 24 hour races?

im still new to wera and i have done searches on here about it but does wera do 8,12 and 24 hour endurance. if so what up?

 

They have in the past....I think it is hard finding tracks to do 24 hour events because of local and county ordinances about quiet time and all that junk.

I saw an old post talking about doing one at tally what ever happened with that.?

barber and road A would be great.

 

24 hr at Tally would cost too much in tire $$. that track is too abrasive , eats up tires quick and has all the corners except 2 on the same side of tire. If I remember right majority of the teams are against 24hr race as it would cost them almost as much as the whole season...

 

i understand the cost being a big problem. I just get excited whatching world endurance and start wishing it was that big over here.....

I also raced a twenty four hour offroad race and that was way fun...

 

Yup, we've had discussions about it before.

What it really comes down to is cost. {suprise, suprise}

Not only for the teams participating, but also for the WERA themselves.
