A couple of the lightweight ccs classes I think, against SVs……it’s been a couple years since I paid attention. LW Grand Prix might be the main one
CCS lowered LW GP to 450cc for liquid four cylinders for 2023. This machine would land in MW GP, liquid fours up to 750cc.
Ya this is the reason for the sale (unfortunately). My loss someone else’s gain- I am in Chicago and LW GP was the plan until rules changed this year.
If WERA events were closer it wouldn’t be for sale! lol May end up keeping it at this rate as a fun track toy. “Understressed” engine a nice plus.
Such a cool bike.....tbh I'm pretty interested too, but the lack of where to find bodywork / fairings spares makes me very hesitant. Does ANYONE on the board know where to find replacement fairings for this amazing machine? Ch
This won’t help a lot but I remember the individual pieces being molds of production bikes’ fairings and put together. Example- I believe the nose is a kawi mold, so I always assumed fiberglass track bodywork could be drilled to fit if needed. Luckily never rode 11/10 to find out- never raced it. Just a few trackdays. If you’re local come check it out.
For the love of all things holiness please buy this 250gp. It’s been teasing and tempting me for a year now. I came to the conclusion that as a racing hack, I’m not worthy of this special bike.
