Nice bike. Looks to be well worth the asking price.
I'm curious . . . . What AHRMA "Superbike" class does the FZR400 fit into? Lightweight Vintage Superbike has a 1982 year cutoff. I'm not aware of the 1988 FZR400 being a "like design" to a pre-82 400 cc multi. Am I missing something? Jus' askin' . . . .

    GLWS

    Cheers,

    Dave

    Thank you for the correction
it was a while ago when we got this bike and we brought it back to life and its been nice to have but its just a shame to have it sit as a floor piece
Selling to hopefully someone who will take it back to the track where it belongs

What size is the rear wheel?

    I would say it's a 17 since it's not an FZR400 rear wheel.

Tried texting, phone message, and got no reply, so this thing must have been sold. Doesn't it suck when you spend hours convincing yourself it'd be a fine purchase, and then get yourself all wound up actually envisioning how cool it'd be to have that bike.... and nobody calls you back....

Mark is currently on a cross country tour in his Slingshot. Not sure when he gets back home.

If you decide to part it out I would like to buy the rear wheel. Front is stock right? And possibly a couple of other parts
You may get more $ parting it out
    Shock is rare and desirable
    Flat slides sellable
Wouldn't take too many parts to get near your asking price
    Just an idea

Ad says marvic wheels front rear.

A lot from the ad isn't accurate as it appears to be a stock front. Don't think they are being shady just not terribly familiar with fzr400s
