Heck the Akrapovic system we run on our 675's is over 3k and that uses a single muffler.

you ever see their R&D facility? They are truely a world class supplier/fabricator.

 

only in mag articles, They have a lot of overhead, but they charge for it.

and didn't Graves make more HP than the Akro system on the Moto2 bike, and I am assuming that would be a bit cheaper than the Akro...so not sure how much better is better, if you can probably get 2 or 3 exhausts for the same price.
