05 SV seat on an 03??

Will an SV seat from an 05 model year fit an 03 bike?

I think mount tabs are different

 

I thought it was the subframe is different...different angle or something which is one thing that makes the 03 unique.

 

subframe is different,03 higher and steel.

 

are the new ones aluminum? I had an '06 and I thought it was steel too.

 

yea,all but 03 are Al.

 

I have both and the '03 seat won't quite fit on the '05 subframe. The '03 seat is for sale if someone needs one.

 

Is it a stock seat? I'm looking for a factory 1" lower seat.

K3 subframes are steel, all K4+ are aluminum.
