One of my coworkers was promoted to Driller recently. He was having a shit day, nothing was going right, he was struggling.

I was like “Dude, there is no reason to be upset or surprised. You should have expected all of this. Everything is going to be difficult when you aren’t good at anything”.



He thought I was about to try to make him feel better, or give him some words of wisdom. Instead I dropped that bullshit on him.
