I've looked at the angles and whatnot and I really think that we could do a schweet underground house on the hill on our 20 acre spot in Oklahoma... But, it's in Oklahoma.

I've heard that folks in certain places in the Outback in Australia fund the construction of their underground houses with the opals that they find while they dig out the rooms.

That sounds awesome.

 

Little known fact: sometimes there are opals in dogshit.

You're referring to opalized coprolites. The stuff I deal with is less than a week old... not 70+ million years old.
