That was sickening to watch... .1 second earlier or later and it could have been much, much worse.

Just a bad decision. He had an amazing start and just wanted too much. Brake a touch earlier fall in line and boom I’m a genius. Guys, seriously. He wants it, just didn’t go right.

 

He gave a short interview when leaving hospital. Indicated it had a rear traction issue even on the warm up and that there was some issue.

 

Nico Terol gotta be ready to dump Izan Guevara here soon. Letting Garcia leave to Pons while running up front a lot has to sting.

Peco’s high side was a “wtf is going” on moment I wonder if all of that oil that they had to clean up was because his bike was leaking and was the cause of the wreck?
Marc-ee Marq successful completed a race on 2 wheels, killing it all the way to 13th. More epic battles coming.

 

Pecco said it was a TC malfunction - it was acting up on the warmup lap and then it didn't fix itself for the race. These guys rely so heavily on these rider aids it's no wonder he asked for all the throttle and without perfectly functioning TC the bike said "Nah, how about a trip to the Moon instead?".

 

Glad Pecco is okay.

It is incredible that his leg(s) wasn't broken.

I will admit I wanted to see Maverick win that one.

 

If I was Ohlins, that would be my next advertising campaign.

 

Yeah, I wasn't even sure I wanted to see the slow motion replay.

I think I want an airbag suit with a 4" thick airbag.
