Reality is starting to set in....wait until the states that banned gas vehicles start seeing the impacts.... Physics is without sympathy or empathy.
Racing is not production. And while I am not an all in on 'E' historically many advances in vehicles came from racing. So if you are looking to make them practical racing is a possible way to help.
My reply was primarily in response to "Electric vehicles are stupid and Ducati won't soil itself like that."
Ducati hasn't figured out a way to justify an exorbitant service charge for an electric motor that doesn't need timing belts changed.
Yep. A few weeks ago I told the wife that I was thinking about getting a Streetfighter because it will be handy in Houston. But I was just kinda halfass talking about it because we haven’t even moved to Houston yet, so I don’t have any real motivation to get one at this moment. Their comment about electric bikes changed that.
It’s the dealers that really make their money on that part. That’s the part that’s not talked about when it comes to the e-bike ecosystem. About the only thing you can do is sell tires, wheels, chains and bodywork. There’s not much profitable engine service involved.
Ducati is heavily involved in the whole EV push so not sure what's this thread about, just look at who they're owned by. VW has to pay the environmentalist reparations for the whole diesel gate scandal so they're EV saints now.
