You do know that comment wasn't actually from Ducati right? lol And seriously, has everyone actually forgotten who is supplying the MotoE bikes this year? Or does the board find the MotoE such an atrocity that no one on here actually pays enough attention to actually know who the supplier is (which is perfectly acceptable to be honest, though the racing is usually quite spectacular).
Nope, I don't know who/where that comment came from. But I like it. And as far as Moto-E, no I have never watched it, and won't. I won't even give the electric bikes the extra click/view on Videopass. Fuck them.
This E-bike hatred is really fascinating. Calling them Woke Bikes would likely help. Don't mind me, I'm just sitting back and (sort of) enjoying the psychotic drama...
The term Woke has always intrigued me. It would seem to imply waking from a trance or deep sleep to now being more enlightened. Seeing more clearly, if you will. Most if not all policies/ideas associated with woke only demonstrate having ones cranium further lodged up their rectum.
The thing that I always kind of hearken back to is that supposedly the "rare" earth minerals needed to make all these batteries is in rarer supply than the petroleum they are meant to replace. So, how does that work out on a timeline that's longer than a generation or 2? And completely ignoring the environmental impacts of actually extracting them from the Earth at large scale (I assume its being done at quite small scale by comparison right now) and producing and transporting around the planet, again at larger ramped up scale. I guess the answer to that is dungeon material as well?
No, its not meant to better humankind or work or make sense. Its about compliance in the name of the "greater good", winning at all costs, and eradication of anyone that doesnt join the collective hive mind with full enthusiasm. Go read The Gulag Arpilelago for context.
I always thought being woke was like you awoke from the matrix. So you can literally see all of the bullshit
