I think Rossi was still leading the championship going into the final race.

 

He was....i just think season issues removed, he would have had a larger points lead and that Valencia low side would not have been as critical.

Hayden had the best season and was rewarded for it.

 

And he crashed, unassisted.

 

There are exceptions but pretty much every championship has its share of that through the year...

 

It was Edwards fault for making an "Assen" out of himself throwing a win down the road putting those 5 points in the Hayden championship savings account...

 

Crutchlow has that same pace....every weeked.
