To get into and through T1 at Putnam Park faster on a liter bike simply wheelie past your normal brake marker, get on the brakes like never before, make two down shifts, and make it to the apex. :D

How about turn 4 on a cold morning?

Yeah, good old turn 4 knocked me unconscious for 15-30 minutes.

My 8 year old son was not impressed to see his dad get a ride back in the meat wagon.

Note to self: don't try to chase down a bunch of 750's on an RD400.

Watch out for the bump about 18 inches out from the curb. Other than that t9 and T10 is like T1 and T2.

Most people that crash there grab a handfull of front brake and hit the deck or just ride out to the woods.

Young jake was going to flat track it through dead bear. :)

And leave the bike in the pits when it's raining ... T4 sucks ass when it's wet

But I can't wait to go back , I love that place

  17. Ask Dave Grey, 2 bikes in less than an hour in T4.

Huh? I thought that track looked pretty decent, at least on video. I had heard that WERA might go there some day in the future so I was thinking that track doesn't look too bad.

Check out Nelson if you think Putnam is bad

Well we know it's not tire related then. There is not a better tire to be had than the ones he rides on :)

The track isnt bad at all. Turn 4 is off camber, if you stay a 1-2 feet off the curbing your fine. Its getting a bit chewed up in turns 2 and 5. The track has more than enough grip, most complain that it eats tires, and all the stuff on the track (patches, cracks, etc) makes for excellent reference markers

Very fun track and great location for the region.

Let's raise some money to hire a proxy between WERA and those owners, so we can race there again.
