I would guess the mix will be similar to last year based on the above 51 rider count. 27 or so on pasta, 21 or so on Buffalo wings, 2 on foie gras, and the one lone guy on sushi tires.
Yep, and that was years ago. I've tried running an open tire class with MA and had major issues. Hence my post.
Very nice line up with 4 canadians, including csbk champion. Nothing to brag against US riders but it will be nice to watch!
Yeah Dunlop, Pirelli, Michelin, and Bridgestone. I dont know if anyone was running 'Stones last year, but Ben Young has them as a sponsor, so I assume he will run them.
It's an open tire race, and not points paying. So, it's not really part of the SS series. It's a standalone event.
Ours wasn't part of the regular series either. I'm really surprised Dunlop isn't throwing a fit over it.
I remember. They parked me way out back. But this is being run at their track, and they have all the clout. Daytona said, open it up.
If you kept up on press releases, news and silly season shit you would. It's okay papa. We will help guide you along. Hold my hand.
Motoamerica took over the 200 last year, right? And they brought some support classes too because the Speedway wanted to bring back the US's premier race series to the Big D? I think it was more like since the Speedway is hosting the event and putting up that BIG purse, they can tell MA what the weekend's parameters are? And I'm sure they are since the guys from Milan swept the 200 podium last year.
