Last year there was one guy on BStones but interesting to see at least 4 riders trying them this year. I guessing since Warren has come back to moto tires he was the influence? And it's going to be interesting to see how they do at the Big D?
Sorry, I have my own org I work for, not going to pore over press releases that have nothing remotely to do with our races.
Yeah, in my head 2022 is still this year. Until I'm at Talladega in a few days 2023 is still next season
Good for whoever ran it last year. Bridgestone had a $1500 purse for the highest non podium finisher, if you are the only one, its guarantee money lol. There are quite a few (including me) racers running Bridgestone in CCS in the midwest. They are also the spec tire for Canadian superbike and seem to be the tire for the Suzuka race.
Am I the only one that noticed that Xavi Fores will be doing the D200 ? Guess he's the one to replace Josh Herrin for the Supersport season ? Surprised to see Ben Young (CSBK Champion) doing it. No press release was done on it but since we'll (CSBK) testing Bstones at Jennings 3 days after Daytona, makes sence to participate when you have the budget Think it's the most Canadians we've seen in the D200 in quite some years. BTW 5 Canadians in total
In recent years I think Darren James had the best Canadian finish with a 5th or 6th? Something to shoot for eh?
I think there was a PR awhile back about Herrin going to SBK and Fores coming over to run SS this year, IIRC.
Do you mean the money for R&D, materials, and factory production time for rear tires only used at the Big D?
Bridgestone USA will be sponsoring Ben Young and Elliot Vieira, from what German Vacca mentioned on FB: "This is the Daytona 200th entry list And we are proud to represent the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship #86 Ben Young and #33 Elliot Vieira along with Bridgestone Motorcycle USA combine forces with Bikepass Motorsports Inc."
