Can you say if anything you may or may not know has already been covered in this thread? Or are we about to get blind sided with some interesting news?
yes, what i found interesting was the lack of talk about that clause in his contact he apparently has.
https://us.motorsport.com/wsbk/news/honda-vierge-lecuona-2023-nakagami/10351425/ Looks like HRC is pretty well set for the season.
Seems to be more fuel for the BMW speculation fire. https://www.crash.net/wsbk/news/1006316/1/2023-worldsbk-rumour-mill-kawasaki-keen-continue-rea
that Baz/Gerloff pairing would be cool to see. Both dudes are tall and have similar riding styles (aggressive, risk takers). From what Baz posts, the BMW lacks rear grip and it seems PJ complains about that here stateside.
Overheard Reddings crew say that they were still trying to figure out how to keep the rear from spinning up as much. So sounds right.
The Beemer has always been a stiffer chassis. I wonder how it would do with Bstones compared to the other manufacturers.
Kalex swing arm seemed to help but I guess more development required? Seems like BMW is investing heavily enough they'll get it sorted eventually.
Redding is getting very close to where he was on Ducati. Need more races to be more confident, but BMW seems to be heading in the right direction. Could be good timing for Gerloff.
My peeps saying GG on the BM is getting alot of chatter now. That and possible helmet brand change, FWIW.
I hate dissing HJC but they are just not appealing. He’s probably going LS2 like Baz, being that they’re both Alpinestars riders.
All of the brands stuck in the 80s with a liner, EPS, and a shell are not appealing. Nice to see helmet technology related to brain protection finally starting to advance.
