I installed a Vortex front sprocket yesterday on my 2009 zx6r and I notice a ton of chain noise almost grinding. I installed the sprocket lettering facing out and torqued correctly. The back side of the sprocket is flat and the front side(lettering side) has a lip/offset. Is the sprocket installed correctly? I am wondering if the lettering is on the wrong side and I should flip the sprocket around.
Disregard this problem. STG sent the wrong front sprocket. They resolved it and are sending me the correct one.
