Clinton calls on Congress to pass Zika bill 'immediately'

If this shit is so bad, why are there no travel restrictions to prevent its spread?
Zika was big news for months before it started showing up in the US.
Why no effort to keep it out?

 

Because refugee lives matter.

 

It's the Olympics, the whole world is traveling to ground zero already

 

well they found 15+ cases in FL (so far) where folks had not traveled sooooo...

I liked this part....seemed to have backfired nicely on her.

 

And Puerto Rico (which is part of US) has a massive problem. Thousands of cases.

Saw a vid on facetubes last night about planes spraying insecticide over Miami.

Guess what, the broken down product of it causes - guess what - microsephaly ...

 

It isn't the continental US. The disease doesn't go by political affiliations.

 

Same/similar pesticides being used in South America where its more prevalent?

Federal funds to combat the mosquito that carries the virus would be used in PR as well.

 

I get that, but if it is such a threat, why no concomitant effort to stop the spread to the continental US?

Yes from what i understand theres no restrictions in south america so it is used heavier then here. Basically zika is nothing new the small gead thing is. They do not have any real link to it other then a baby born like that mother has zika. Its kinda like 100% of people who have cancer drank water so water causes cancer.

 

With as much destruction as it causes I would have thought that the Zika virus would be Democrat/BLM.

 

Ebola wiped out 10's of 1,000,000's here in the US....as did West Nile if it wasn't 100's of 1,000,000's...........$.

 

A mosquito is little more than a flying dirty syringe.

Why is the gooberment saying Zika is spread by mosquitoes and HIV can not?

 

I could be wrong, but I think it depends on whether or not the virus can survive inside the mosquito.

 

That's along the lines of what I was thinking but I'm also thinking "they" might lie about it to keep panic down. Zika does what? Produces kids with softball sized heads? HIV still scares the shit outta people.
