I could tell you were of good character.... My 4th bike was a '70 H1, then a brand new RD400F, then my 84 yellow RZ350 that I still have.... ;)

Funny thing about the RZ. I bought it in '86 with 220 miles on the odo from a guy in SF. Came close to totalling it (and me) on the test ride. WAY different powerband than the RD350 I had at the time, and I went superwide on one corner and clipped a curb. I limped back to his house, wrote him a check (!) and rode it home. He couldn't handle it, and I got a bargain. $1100 IIRC.

I bought one 5 or 10 years ago in the parking lot of a swap meet to restore. My first bike, memories with Dad, etc.

Then I came to my senses and it went on to somebody else.

I didn't like it THAT much.

I forgot the 1975 TS185 between the S90 and the FA50. Fun bike.

You can (for the most part) get away with a lot more hooligan shit on a 50 than you can on a 600, which a judge reminded me of in'89.

"Exhibition of Speed." Six months with no license. Dragging knee in the Laguna Seca parking lot on a YSR50 at the GP in '88 was frowned upon by the Monterey Sheriffs or then, the Mil Police.
