Besides no lawyers being killed this whole thing sucks for our sport. It’s money pissed away on so many different levels that could’ve gone to cover club costs and maybe lower entry fees, gate fees ( no idea if that’s controlled by club or track but thought I read the club), etc, etc. Through all this bs there’s obviously a lack of transparency by the club which is not how the club is supposed to operate. Sadly this happens far to often with non profits as the reality of it is although the business may not profit the people that work for it profit more than a lot of non profit businesses. That’s one reason I’m very careful about where I donate money, and I donate a fair amount every year. Some very well known non profits end up having something silly like 25 or 30% of the money donated going to the actual cause and the CEO making a mil plus a year. What sucks is non profits certainly have their place but there is always some POS out there who has to take advantage of people.

You are talking about avoiding a beating in regards to someone else? If I ever see you in person keep in mind I have not forgot about the less than stellar transaction you and I had in the past, we can discuss it face to face. I’m not going to post the details and it wasn’t worth my time over a few hundred dollars but if I was you I’d not throw stones in a glass house.
