    No, I don't but... he did that monster burnout and highsided the bike on the track in celebration after his win earlier in the season. He also got fined and promised not to do it again.

    Methinks they decided to show him they're serious about having him behave on track. ( especially after the public opinion came out against him )

    i don't think any such fine and/or probation will deter yates from being himself. :) he may be a bit looped at times, but at least he's interesting. most of those ama/sbk/gp/etc guys are so damn boring...

    I think the point is not so much deterring Aaron from doing it again, but also deterring someone else from doing it next time, now that Aaron's given them the idea . . . and you know someone will try it if they think they can get away with it.
