    Hi Guys,

I've got an old flattracker (Honda XR80 w/ a 100cc jug) that needs some attention. The head needs to be re-worked with new valves, valve seals, etc, and I'd like to farm it out to someone instead of doing the job myself. Do you have any recommendations on who might be right for the job?

    Thanks in advance,

    John

Did the bottom end of the 80 need machining to get the 100 jug & piston to work? I wanna do that but if it involves machining I may be better off just getting a used 100 motor.

I just don't know either, Stephen. The bike had already been modified by the time I got it. I would like to know how it's done, though. Cool parts at Powroll... for when I want to throw even more money at this thing, ha!

(Only a few responses... i may post this in General, too.)

Its a direct bolt on. The xr80 head and xr100 head are identical other than the xr80 head giving you a bump in compression when used on the 100.

You can send it to me, I've done lots of XR engines.
