WTB Gocart track training bike

Looking to buy training type of mini bike for go cart tracks, would be great it ifs setup already & two stroke, priced under $1.5k, located in California. Pls let me know what you have . Thx

 

What you(I) really want is the CRF150R, but they go for 3-5k.

What other alternatives we have besides cfr150?

 

You can get a TTR125 but they are not as fun as the 150R

 

curious why you would want a 2T bike?? What are you trying to practice??

 

Already setup AND under $1500 is going to be really, hard to find, tbh. You can find some dirt bikes in that price range, but they will still be configured for and would need new wheels, tires, suspension, and brakes. A bike that is setup is generally going to be $2-3k regardless of what it is.

Actually wanting to go out with it but haven’t yet. I just took my wife to the airport today and thought about this weekend, but possibly should do it when she is around, in case a hospital visit is required. Lol

You can get crf/xr 100s for around 1500-2k ttr will be a little bit more maybe up to 2.5k

150r is the best bike you’ll ever buy in your life and those are 3-5k . Be sure to get a 150r on 17” wheels

 

Out of eight track crashes (two big bike high sides), the two worst were on a Grom at the kart track. You should wait for your wife to get back…

When my son first started racing in minis I ended up running his NSR 50 one weekend. First time racing a motorcycle again in over 15 years. As I was coming up on a new rider to pass, he altered his line into where I was going, so I ended up crashing to avoid plowing into him.

The rider behind me ran right over me. I broke my collarbone, multiple ribs and punctured a lung. In the hospital for 3 days.
