Holy crap that's impressive. What was the best finish a Triumph carded last year? Top ten, maybe? I don't care how long I gotta wait to see it, WSSP is the shit.
I hope Hoegee Suzuki puts up some numbers this year. Barry tries, that's for sure. Dunno about their new guy but he's an Aussie so hopefully he'll do well.
Good job on Ben to go and do that well not knowing the track. And I'm with you guys on Gary. I hope he does well this year. But where is Max's dumb ass. Not that I wanna watch him but I wanna see how the Aprilia compares.
UPADATE!!! SUPERBIKEPLANET.COM post different Results! Rea Fastest...and Spies still remains 3rd! http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2009/Feb/090222a.htm
Thanks, I need to send those to a friend who recently insisted Spies would be in over his head this year.
Nobody's perfect - also tried to tell me he could do a faster lap at Hallett in a Z06 than any motorcycle. I tried to educate rather than just be abusive that time too.
Mark Aitchison finished 14th in the overall points last year for Triumph. Best finish of 6th, in Misano, as well as 3 other top 10 finishes over the year. Gary McCoy's best race finish matched Mark's with a 6th at Philip Island, but only one other race finish, a 13th. Add to that the 9ths recorded by Clementi, and even Rob Frost as a wildcard at Brands. *wonders of the internet*
