It no longer shocks me anymore the sheer numbers of women out there that sell their bodies for $.

It used to be that prostitution was reserved for a select few, these days it has become far too accessible/acceptable to the masses....and by that I'm talking about providers, not clientele. The internet and feminism have definitely helped things along no doubt.

It's irrational to declare that a woman has the right to choose when it comes to abortion and then say that when it comes to sex, say they can give it away, but not sell it.

She also recently filed a lawsuit against Sheri's Ranch claiming they mistreat the workers. So...which is it?

Even Hos should have decent working conditions.

I agree, but she made it sound like unicorns and rainbows even though her legal claims are different. That's all.

I have no idea why prostitution isn't legal in most places, other than some feeling like they need to force their own morals onto others. I've never used a prostitute, so I don't have first hand experience, but who the hell am I to tell a woman she can't? With the legalization would come testing standards, taxes, drop in demand for human trafficking, etc. Pimps, drugs, abuse and even murder are associated with the world's oldest profession because it is forced into the shadows of society. Truly, I've never heard a good argument for it being illegal.

I will agree that it should be legal but
the claims that legalization would remove
all the bad stuff are pipe dreams.
Prostitution and drug addiction and child
abuse are all linked so it's not just a career
choice for many if not most.
Most guys can't afford the high-level escort.
The demand will never go away, although
video games and porn are putting a dent in it,
so women will still be forced into the trade.

Honestly, it is difficult to read the shortened paragraph format you are using. I never said legalizing it would remove those horrible afflictions to our society, but bringing the industry out into the light would at least help normalize it closer to other fringe industries. Also, most guys can't afford Ferraris, but they still exist. That shouldn't mean a guy can't get a ride in a Hyundai if he wants to. :D
