Even with more power, I can't see how it will come close to the Desmodichi's top speed numbers with no fairings. That design has gotta knock at least a good 20mph off.

Kinda like when I was watching Ghost Rider last night. It was on FX and the hot chick and the fat guy that do the commercials in between. They were at some bike shop that built choppers and all. The guy told them he had this particular one up to 145mph. Engine capable...probably yes, but no way that thing could be as smooth as he said it was. He made it sound like he was driving in a caddy.

 

Maybe not for the track, but it would be a killer streetfighter!!!

 

I bet that motorcycle has a helluva personality....

Can't figure out how it steers; does the shaft slide front to back, or have eccentrics that move when twisted or something?

 

WTH does hub-centre-steering mean?
Is the axle solid?
Does it slide forward and back to allow the front wheel to turn?
